School Wellbeing Program - Social Understanding, Gender and Sex

  • Event: Collingwood College Corner Cromwell St and McCutcheon Way Collingwood, Victoria 3066 AUSTRALIA Australia (map)

Working Wholistically with Social Understanding, Gender and Sex is a social program that gradually unfolds for students as they move from Class 5 to 12.

It supports the social context of main lessons and works towards more deeply understanding the possibility of true human connections amidst the ever-increasing influences from media.

This program encourages equality and self-confidence by building recognition and acceptance of inner individuality that develops alongside changes in the physical body. Content about sex and sexuality starts from Class 8.

Lisa Romero will offer a lecture to parents on Monday evening.

On Tuesday Lisa and Melanie Deefholts with work with students.
